📄 Booking Conditions
💳 Deposits
A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking for all pitches, the lodge and the safari tent.
For the lodge and safari tent, a €250 security deposit is also required.
This will be refunded after departure, once the accommodation has been checked.
🕒 Check-in & Check-out
Check-in is from 2:00pm, and check-out is by 10:30am on the day of departure.
The latest check-in time is 6:00pm; however, if you require a later arrival, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
❌ Cancellations
Pitches: minimum 7 days’ notice required
Lodge & safari tent: minimum 14 days’ notice required
Cancellations made within these periods may result in the loss of deposit.
🏊 Swimming Pool
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
(no lifeguard is on duty)
No diving
No food or drink around the pool
Please be mindful of other guests enjoying the space
Pool opening times: 9:00am – 6:00pm
🚭 Smoking & Fire Safety
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the lodge or safari tent
Smoking is not permitted around the pool area
Please take extra care when extinguishing cigarettes, as the grass can become very dry and fires can spread quickly from loose ash or embers
E-cigarettes may be charged on site, but must not be left unattended while charging
For safety reasons, personal firepits are not permitted
BBQs are allowed off the ground only
Please note: we do not provide equipment to raise disposable BBQs off the ground
🐶 Dogs
Dogs are very welcome on site
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times
Please clean up after your dog immediately and dispose of waste in the bins provided
For the safety and comfort of all guests, we are unable to accept dogs classified under French regulations as:
Category 1 dogs (attack dogs), including pitbull-type (non-pedigree), Boerbull-type and Tosa-type
Category 2 dogs, including Rottweilers, Tosa and American Staffordshire Terrier

♻️ Rubbish & Recycling
We kindly ask all guests to help us manage waste responsibly during their stay. Recycling must be placed in a clear plastic bag, which will be provided to you on arrival. Please ensure that recycling, glass, and general waste are kept separate at all times.
🚐 Waste Disposal
At present, we do not have a waste disposal point on site.
The nearest service point is located at the Super U supermarket in La Châtre, approximately a 15-minute drive from the campsite, where you can empty waste and refill as needed.
Service points are widely available across France and are easy to find during your travels.
👥 Group Bookings
We are a small, quiet campsite and aim to keep a peaceful atmosphere for all guests, so we do not accept large group bookings, stag or hen parties.
🤝 Guest Conduct
We are a quiet, family-friendly campsite and expect all guests to respect others and the surroundings.
We do not tolerate abusive or inappropriate behaviour towards other guests or the owners.
Any such behaviour may result in guests being asked to leave the site without refund.
🔇 Quiet Hours
Quiet time is between 10:00pm and 9:00am to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests.
